Print Polystyrene Panels

Looking to print polystyrene panels for your client? Take advantage of high-quality printing using Durst’s high-tech machines, competitive pricing, and speedy delivery. Polystyrene is a solid plastic sheet material with a smooth top layer. It is flexible and can be printed on both sides. Additionally, it is lightweight, making it easy to hang.


The material is available in thicknesses of 1 or 2 mm. Polystyrene has a maximum print width in one piece of 116 cm and a maximum print height in one piece of 196 cm.

Strong Material and Fully Recyclable

Polystyrene is a robust material that is entirely recyclable. Displays made from polystyrene are more durable than their cardboard counterparts. While polystyrene is often compared to Forex®, it is significantly stronger, and drilled holes are less likely to tear out.

Common Applications

Polystyrene is commonly used for (illuminated) POS displays, lightbox panels, rally shields, stand construction, and signage.


The material is fire-retardant, making it suitable for public spaces. It also does not absorb moisture, making it ideal for damp areas.

What printing technique do you use for this material?

The UV printing technique! Here the ink is hardened by a UV lamp. The ink is scratch-resistant and gives a beautiful finish. Good to know: the print is not odor-free, this goes away after a while.
