The 3M™ Scotchcal™ Clear View IJ8150 film is a transparent, glossy cast print film for glass applications. The film and adhesive layer are both crystal clear, so the unprinted areas provide perfectly clear views. The printed parts offer privacy.
Create special effects
On this crystal clear print film we print full color and with white ink. With white print you create special effects, such as an edge glass effect. Tip: create a design for the entire glass surface. When creating a design for part of the surface, the edges of the film will be visible.
A long lifespan, including warranty
The 3M™ Scotchcal™ Clear View film IJ8150 has a lifespan of seven years for indoor applications. This film is used for permanent promotional use and signing. The 3M™ Clear View offers a four-year warranty for outdoor applications with and without whiteprint.

What is the expected lifespan of this film?
Expect a lifespan of 7 years for indoor applications. There are several factors that may affect this lifespan. This material is not suitable for outdoor applications.
If my film is split, how much overlap is included?
Proceed on the basis of 1.5 cm. In the uploader you can specify in how many parts you want to split your file. We will then take the overlap into account, so you do not have to do this yourself.
What printing technique is used for this material?
Latex. This printing technique has many advantages. Water-based inks are used, making them odorless and somewhat environmentally friendly. The inks soak into the material, making them highly scratch-resistant.
How do I apply Clearview as a window sticker?
Make sure the surface is clean and grease-free. Does the adhesive layer lend itself to wet application of the film? Then wet both the surface and the adhesive layer with application fluid and position the film. Secure the film and slowly and evenly scrape out the moisture under the film. If the film cannot be applied wet, position the it at the top and work down evenly. Work with caution, it is difficult to reposition the film or smooth out surface air bubbles when applying it dry.
Removal of the protective backing is easiest if you put the film with the print side against the wet window.
