Basicwall is an extra economical seamless wallpaper with a maximum print width of 3.14 by 20 meters. This polyester wall covering with a top layer of PVC has a matt look and a slightly structured top layer. This makes it a good, economical alternative to the well-known Airtex®.
The material has a PVC-coated top layer, which prevents wrinkles and tears. This makes applying the wallpaper to walls quick and easy. The top layer is water-repellent and offers good protection against damage and stains.
Wallpaper for all color surfaces
Basicwall has a light gray backing, also called greyback. As a result, any color difference with the background is not visible. You can stick the material on colored backgrounds without the color showing through on the print of the wallcovering.
Most common applications
This material is used as wall covering. Because Basicwall is fire retardant, it may also be used in public areas. Among other things, it is often used for exhibitions, because with Basicwall you can dress up your stand quickly and economically.
Installation tips
Basicwall wallcovering is easy to apply on smooth and even walls. This allows the wallpaper to adhere optimally. Good to know: order 5 cm extra on all sides because a floor or ceiling is never completely straight. Keep this in mind when preparing your file.

When will the strong smell of the wallpaper go away?
This depends on how well you ventilate the room, but this can last for 3 months.
What is the best way to clean the material?
It is best to clean this material with warm water and a fibre cloth. Do not use detergents, these can have a damaging effect on the ink.
What is the best adhesive to use for my substrate?
This depends. For a highly absorbent substrate such as a drywall or concrete wall use Medium adhesive (pre-treat with primer first, if necessary), for a non-absorbent substrate such as a panel or door use High adhesive.
Can I use this wallpaper in a damp room such as a bathroom?
No, this material has a textile top layer and is therefore not suitable for a damp room. This is because it retains moisture. A good alternative for this is Airtex.
What printing technique do you use for this material?
The UV printing technique! Here, the ink is hardened by a UV lamp. The ink is scratch-resistant and gives a beautiful finish. Good to know: the print is not odor-free, this will wear off after a while.
