Deko Fabric printing
Dekostof is characterized by strong colors and matte appearance. The supple polyester fabric has a fine structure and absorbs light rather than reflecting it. This way, the print is always visible.
Stains on your canvas? No problem! This is because this material is suitable for washing and ironing at a low temperature.
This material has a maximum one-piece print width of 313 cm. Are you going for a finish with a sinew? Then the maximum print width is 309 cm. This fabric has a weight of 215 gr/m2.
Cloth with wrinkle recovery
The material is foldable making it easy and economical to ship. Creases in your cloth are not a problem. In fact, you can iron this material. In addition, folds disappear when the fabric is hung tight in a frame.
Most common applications
Dekostof is mainly used as a tensile fabric in a textile frame or banner in a store.
The material is only suitable for indoor use. The lifespan is different for each application, but generally the material lasts for years. Environmental factors such as light can affect the quality, however, this is because the inks are not UV light resistant.
Differences between Dekostof and Decotex
Dekostof is very similar to Decotex. The difference between the two? The maximum one-piece print width. Whereas Dekostof has a print width of 313 cm, we print Decotex up to a maximum width of 496 cm in one piece.
In addition, the printing techniques differ. With Dekostof, we apply the sublimation printing technique. This makes the inks odorless and the fabric easy to fold. At Decotex, we use the UV printing technique. This makes the inks UV light resistant but has a temporary, strong odor.
Assembly tip and finishes.
Are you using Decotex fabric for a textile frame? Then use the special, plastic e-lock tool. With this handy tool, you quickly press the fabric into the frame. This gives you a nice tight fabric.
Dekostof has many finishing options. You can cut this material clean, add a band with rings, tunnels, a tendon or velcro. A suitable finish for every application.

What is the expected lifespan of Deko fabric?
The material can be used for many different applications. For each application, the lifespan is different. When used indoors, the material will last for years. However, light can affect it. The material is not suitable for outdoor use.
There are creases in my canvas, how do I get them out?
That's easy! You can iron the material on the wool setting. Deko fabric is heat resistant but you can put a tea towel between the two to be sure.
What is the best way to clean this material?
With warm water and a fiber cloth. Deko fabric can also be washed at 30 degrees.
What production technique is used for this material?
The sublimation printing technique! We first let the inks dry thoroughly and then they are heated at a high temperature of 180 to 200 degrees. This causes the inks to be woven into the fibers of the fabric and the colors come out very beautifully.
In addition, the water-based ink is odor-free. Please note that the ink is not UV light resistant. Therefore, use Dekostof only indoors.
